Birding Buddies Program

Conserve Birds across the Americas !

Our goal is to inspire students across the Americas to develop an increased awareness of migratory bird conservation issues and become involved in conservation.

Students interested in participating must complete the Jr. Birder Program to be eligible. The Jr. Birder Program contains fun activities such as conducting a field observation or identifying birds. It is available in English and Spanish!

1. Fill out our Application Form and send it back to us.
2. After submitting your application you should complete the Birding Buddies activties.

Once your submission has been received; it will be reviewed and you will be entered into the queue. When enough money is raised; each store will announce a winning pair of Birding Buddies (one from the U.S. and one from Latin America) to receive a pair of binoculars.

Each student will receive the email of the other student so they can exchange bird observations and other conservation information.

We would like to post a photo of each student with a short biography as this program grows.

Your contribution will provide binoculars to bird education programs for students in Latin America and your community. Students will contact each other through the internet sharing their bird education experiences.
